CV/Bio

I am an assistant professor and Cowles Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communications, as well as an affiliate faculty member at the university’s Center for the Study of Political Psychology. My research focuses on mediated communication and its impact on political and cultural change. As a former journalist, I am particularly interested in political journalism, and I have published research examining the press and public discourse in both historical and contemporary settings.
